Hello, my name is Roland E. Bean and I have been ministering the Gospel for over forty years.  This journey has taken me to 49 States and over a dozen different countries.  During most of these years I have been directly involved in Pastoral duties of one kind or another.  From 1966 I have taught leadership seminars throughout the world.  We have seen some phenomenal successes and experienced what might be termed as failures.  However, at all times we were never without  His continued presence and Grace. For over 39 years I have had the full support of my wife and two children who are also serving the Lord. 

A number of years ago I noticed that many of the Pastors and workers, in all size churches were languishing.  It did not take long to see that this plight was due more to the lack of personal fellowship and individual encouragement than any other one thing.  I noticed that help was being offered but it was usually out of the natural setting and environment of the local church.  I saw a great need not being met. I asked the Lord what could be done about this problem.  As I prayed, the Lord spoke to me about Nathanial.  In John 1:48,  Nathaniel  asked Christ where he knew him from.  Jesus said he saw him when he was “under the fig tree” and proceeded to give him a word of encouragement.

Fig Tree Ministries was formed for the purpose of encouragement and training.  The size of your church or group is not as important as the need in your life and ministry today.  Are you in need of personal encouragement?  If so,  I want to invite you to give me a call.  It would be an honor to speak with you personally and bring the “word of encouragement” that the Lord has specifically for you.
